My girl is crawling, pulling herself up a little bit but only onto her knees, she's recently figured out how to sit from lying and she does wave but sporadically, she happy flaps but doesn't really clap (although she makes my hands clap😂) and while she can stand while supported for a couple seconds, I'd say she's still a fair bit away from actually walking! I know it's hard not to compare but babies really do develop at their own pace. Take crawling, it's not even considered a milestone anymore because some babies just bypass it completely!

My baby is 9.5 months and she is not crawling, not pulling up, she claps with her feet 😂 not with her hands really and she waves sometimes. All babies go at their own pace worse thing you can do is compare, it drove me mad when I saw my LG not progressing like others were but she’s perfectly fine

All babies go at their own pace so try not to worry to much it will all come every child is unique and the milestones should be used as a rough guide only and I try to not compare my LG to any other babies because they are all wonderful and amazing and will all get there in the end.

My baby is 9 months in 2 weeks. Not crawling, waving, clapping, standing, and flings herself around when she's sitting 🤣 she'll do everything when she's ready. just have to keep encouraging them daily. There's so much pressure to compare your child to others, but they're unique little people and will do it at their own pace 💓

My little one is 9 months in 3 days and still can’t 100% sit on her own. She can do it but is super lazy and just tends to bed over and go back to lying, you have to watch her so closely. She can’t crawl yet either but army crawls instead😂 she can wave but not clap and is pulling herself onto her knees and stands with support. I was super worried about her not sitting properly but it’s completely normal and they’ll learn when they want to! Xx

Every baby goes at their own pace but my 9.5 month old is waving, clapping and crawling
Pulls self up to standing and is trying to stand by self as I write this

She’s been crawling since 8.5 months, clapping just yesterday and pulling self up since 7 months

Waving since 7 months.
Babbles when looking through books and has generally a cognitive understanding of things
Says some words since 7 months such as dada, mama, mum mum, there and yeah.
By 8 months knew who was dada and who’s mama

My girl is 9 months and has only just started rolling and says mama and dada. That's about it! X

My boy 9 month in a week can crawl , pull to stand ( all the time ) him practising to stand aswell 🤦🏽‍♀️, can clap , can wave but not properly. But all babies develop differently like I’m surprised as we don’t have floor space in the lounge either so I would of thought he’d be behind but he worked it out himself. Babies will do it in their own pase. Like little one can’t say mama or dada properly yet but can say pancake randomly 😂😂.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

How many words

Just a quick gauge of how many words your little ones are saying at this age. I heard by 15 months it should be 5 words, are most around this mark ?
