If your baby falls asleep on the bottle do you wake them up before putting them in their crib? If so, how?!

For context my little girl is 7 months and we sleep trained at 4.5 months. She can get to sleep fine herself but recently she’s been falling asleep on the bottle so when I put her down she is fast asleep. Then when she wakes up it’s like she can’t get back to sleep and I think it’s because the feed to sleep association is coming back?

Let her sleep while drinking bc they can take the bottle away when your little one pushes it out

If mine (4mo) falls asleep I just wait 30 seconds or so, then I burp him on my shoulder or he will wake up vomiting/ uncomfy anyway. If he wakes fully then I just go through the motions of keeping it really dark, no engagement and get him back to sleep the same way I would have originally (carrier is quickest for me, not yet sleep trained). It's soul destroying because it can take half an hour to get him back to sleep, after half an hour nappy and feed, so I'm up a lot. But that's just how it is.. now if he didn't have reflux issues, I'd probs just stick him back in (if it's not that often) it's hard for them to not fall asleep during the night feeds because of the sleep pressure. If it's every bottle I'd look at why, it happened to mine a while back and it was because the teat size was too small and he was working too hard and getting bored/ tired. Not sure about this with a 7 mo. Sorry if not much help xxx

He’s only fell asleep on the bottle a couple of times but I woke him up. I sleep trained at 5 months and have never fed him to sleep. I also wake him up if he falls asleep after 4 as he goes to bed at 6.30/7pm and if he sleeps after 4 there’s no way he’s going to bed until at least 9pm
