Purple crying. There's a fussy stage that peaks between 6-8 weeks where they are usually very fussy in the evening before bedtime. It's different baby to baby but very typical. Basically software and firmware updates all at the same time and it overwhelms them.

Witching hour most likely. Plus going through the growth spurt 6-8 weeks is tough

I just got over mine! She did the same thing around 7 weeks. She would cry from 7-8:30 ish consistently everyday. The only thing that helped was walking around with her in my arms. I suggest a baby carrier, the movement calms their nervous system. Also a bath!

Thank you guys so much!! It’s been a little difficult since there’s so much going on in the evenings and having reason for the crying really helped ease my mind!

After long days of lots of milk it’s likely gas build up. Or the milk hasn’t been moving down in her tummy properly. Typically “purple crying or witching hour crying” is due to an underlying cause. You can try watching a video on how to move milk through a baby! ❤️ it’s a bit different than gas relief and works well

Thank you very much. This is the worst night so far she keeps waking up and crying for a bout 30-40 minutes.

My son is 2 months old and started this last week! Agh I literally try everything. Gripe water has eased it and made the screaming time shorter but he’s still screaming for some time every evening.

My daughter will be 2 months on the 25th and this started last week. It has been a long week but we are hanging in their and hoping it ends soon!
