Advice please

Hi all, I’m currently pregnant after multiple tests and have an early scan booked for next week Saturday. I am currently 6 weeks today according to my dates. I have zero symptoms and have had two previous miscarriages. The last one being a missed one. My anxiety is driving me crazy and I know what ever may happen is out of my hands. Is it normal to few like this and have no symptoms? Also on progesterone pessaries which I’m worrying may mask another missed miscarriage 🤦🏻‍♀️. Any advice would be appreciated x

Hey! I’m sorry you’re having a hard time and that you suffered through miscarriages, must have been rough! I can’t relate to those struggles but I can say that I had zero symptoms when I got pregnant and my anxiety was through the roof! I paid for a private scan as soon as I could get an appointment just to get peace of mind. That both confirmed that I was indeed pregnant and gave me an opportunity to have a conversation with a midwife (and since it was private there was proper time allocated for all my questions and a proper conversation). Otherwise what helped is dissecting the elephant and only thinking/reading up on/learning about the things that were relevant to that stage of pregnancy (so consciously blocking out thoughts of stretch marks or labour or any other late pregnancy concerns). Hope that helps and hope your pregnancy goes well!

Thank you Olga, that’s so kind of you to comment ♥️ That does give me some hope that lack of symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean history will repeat itself. Playing the waiting game is so hard but I will hopefully have some answers next weekend. Best of luck with your pregnancy too x

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!
