Tender tummy

I’m 5 months pp from a c section. I have started to have a little tender tummy again. It doesn’t hurts, just a little tender to touch on the right side over my scar. I have been doing scar massage. Not sure if it just it all coming back to life. Has anyone else had this happen this late on after?

I am also 5 months pp and experiencing the same thing. I’m hoping it’s all part of the healing process.

Thankyou for responding. It’s reassuring to hear, even through it not nice to have the tenderness back, mine is around the middle and right side of my tummy. It doesn’t hurt to do anything or when I move just tender to touch again.

Are you exercising or anything again yet? My mum said it also could be because I am doing a lot more now :)

Yeah mine is in the exact same place. I do find sometimes when I’ve done a lot of bending/lifting, housework etc it’s rather tender when I settle for the evening. I haven’t got back into it properly yet, but I do plan on it asap. I did read that it can take a while for nerves to return so it could be part of that too.

yes mine gets more tender in the evenings. It want tender when I woke up as the morning has gone on I can feel it again if I put my baby across my tummy. Yes I have read that too and the nerves can get sick in tissue and that can be painful. I just thought 5 month on I would feel back to normal x

I find the same, if my LO is sat on me I get tenderness. Makes me feel better that we’ve experienced the same. My partner had surgery which wasn’t as invasive as a c-section and he found it tender for months after so I think it’s just part of the healing process x

It such a big surgery, which I forget because you just get kinda made to get on with it 🙈

Everyone heels so differently which I find hard because I see people out running and exercise and they are less pp then me. But just need to listen to my body x

Oh 100% I think we are all wired to think that’s it’s not a big surgery when it actually is!

Yeah I definitely relate to that, I don’t think social media helps either, it’s so easy to compare x
