C Section Date

Hi!! So I’m having an elective c section due to a scare regarding my health which I don’t really wanna get into but I finally found out my date for the c section!! My little girl will be out on march 13th a week before her due date. I’m super excited and happy that she’ll be here in 16 days but I was wondering does anyone have any advice or suggestions? I appreciate anything thank you!

Just commenting so I can see others comments, but super happy for you! My date is on the 3rd! Super scared but also trying to stay relaxed enough so I can bring that excitement in 🩷 I’m in a group of people who are due a c section/ and there’s lots of women in there that have also had one which can be really helpful, especially if there’s anything more specific you’re worried about xx

Exciting having a date but hope you’re ok! You mean c-section advice right? You won’t want your underwear & trousers touching your scar (even with the dressing on it) so as unattractive as they are, get the massive pants 😂 they’ll be your best purchase!

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
