first MC

Hi
I had my first miscarriage and it's been a week. I have so many questions and Idk where to start as I've just been so sad but I thought I'd start here.
It's been a week and I'm still testing positive but I finally finished bleeding. Is this normal?

First of all, I'm so sorry you are going through this! Second it definitely varies based on the person and how far along you were. I was at 8/9 weeks when I had my miscarriage and bled for just about a week. It took another week to test negative. Take care! 🫶

tysm for replying 🥹 ik there's prob a ton of repeated questions in here so I appreciate you taking the time
i was 6 weeks so really early and your account tracks as I was expecting about 2 weeks to get back to "net neutral" ig w my system and waiting to ovulate again

I just dunno what to trust anymore and dunno if I can trust my body anymore

Can see you’re in the US, but in the UK we’re told to re-test 3 weeks post miscarriage to check HCG has left our system, so perhaps give it another couple of weeks?
I know it’s very easy to say, but try really hard to be kind to yourself x

oh ok! 3 weeks! thanks for the input and I'll really try 🥹

It can sometimes take longer for hormones to go down. With my first loss it took me two month for me to no longer test positive

this is what I'm afraid of bc if I don't get my cycle back I can't try again 😞

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!
