Naps/sleep time 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been blessed that my daughter has slept through the night since only a couple of weeks old and we have never struggled with naps/bedtime.

We still aren’t struggling with that but in the past month or two, she’s waking in the night (only once) but ends up staying awake for over an hour sometimes before getting herself back to sleep and even if she does this or not she’s waking up at around 5/6am as opposed to around 8/9 that she used to do.

Her bedtime is 7pm and she gets herself to sleep and naps at around 11/12 for around 1.30/2hrs.

My question is should I cut her nap down or out or push her bedtime back or will none of this even help? 🥲

I'd try capping the nap at an hour 👍

I can't let my 2 year old sleep longer than 1hr 15 mins or she'll wake up several times in the night 🤦‍♀️

Her nap might be a bit early, my daughter now naps 12:30-1:30, I put her in her cot at 7:15 and she’s asleep by 7:30, we went through 5am wake ups, we’ve managed to get it to 6, as they get older their sleep needs get less she won’t need as much within 24 hours xx

Cut her nap to an hour yesterday and still 5am wake up, I’ll try pushing the nap time back a little and see if that helps 🥰

it took us about a week or two for her body clock to change to a new routine! Yeah try that as I think that’s what helped too 😊 x

Health Visitor Home Visit

Hii, could anyone explain what the health visitor does on their home visit?

Also if anyone had a home birth, what the midwife home risk assessment involves?

I’ve got 3 home visits coming up in the next two weeks (health visitor, midwives and doula) and it’s making me nervous for some reason. I think having 3 just feels like a lot and a bit invasive if that makes sense!

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

How are we entertaining our babies

What toys does everyone have for their 7 month old?
Nothing is satisfying my little girl she's got blocks, rattles, playmats loads more. She would much rather hold my hands and walk all day but I cant physically do that and whenever I put her down to play she just wont, is this just a faze?
