My son is half white half salvadoran and unfortunately I can’t really speak spanish to teach him myself so instead I try different bilingual youtube videos as well as bilingual books! I feel like there’s only so much you can do yourself though considering it’s not your heritage you’re struggling to share but I would just do the best you can. Anything is better than nothing!

For Spanish try using ms isa on YouTube!! She’s the Spanish version of ms Rachel it helps me to learn as well as my little one learn!!

I don't have any advice but I think it's awesome you're trying to introduce the other heritage. I'm half native american and white i have no clue about my culture and it makes me so sad my tribe is fading out not much options to learn anything. My kids are more than likely will never know their native roots.

I'm colombian, husband is from PR.. we do spanish at home and daycare in english. It is challenging because as of now I'm not even sure of how many words exactly she has.
I know she understands more than she can speak.

So my son is half Colombian and half Filipino. I teach him English/Spanish and his dad teaches him English/Tagalog. I always make sure to buy bilingual books in English and both other languages (not all in the same book that’d be hard lol) I teach my son about both Colombia and the Philippines. I try not to teach one more than the other. I’m just more familiar with Colombia, but when we do any screen time I make sure to put on both Filipino kids and Colombian kids channels. I buy him traditional clothes from both countries. I want to make sure when he grows up that he knows he’s both Filipino and Colombia and that both have beautiful cultures.
