Spoon trick for walking

Has anyone tried the spoon trick for walking? You give your baby a spoon in each hand a big cooking one that you’d use for things like pasta and then hold the other end and walk with them. I just tried it and I was barely holding the spoons and she was taking steps! I wouldn’t recommend unless they’re really confident walking with a walker and things but thought it might help out some of you with little ones desperate to walk like mine

We play with trying to walk. So my partner will sit on the sofa and I'll sit on the floor bearly 3 steps (baby steps) away. Our little girl will then stand holding the sofa and I'll play the "come back here game with her" (she runs away and I grab her in a big cuddle to bring her back to me. Once she's had her cuddles I'll stand her up and she'll take a couple steps towards the sofa but has the sofa there to help her if she tumbles forward. The only reason her dad is on the sofa is coz she usually runs to him 😂

@Ebony see we’ve tried stuff like this but our little girl is very defiant😂we tell her anything she does the complete opposite so she just crawls off and laughs. Won’t even stand if I try to get her to but will happily do it on her own terms😂

She only stands independently if her dad is around. For me she's super lazy and demands to be carried everywhere 🤣 it ends in arguments between me and her and the dog looking like the divorce child 🤣🤣

My little girl is like this if I try and get her to stand she just lifts her legs in the air but will stand all day long when she’s got herself up 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ will also walk with her walker but won’t walk holding my hands x
