What do early contractions feels like?
I’ve had 2 sweeps this week, pretty sure I’ve had my ‘bloody show’ and lost mucus plug, as well as having a bad tummy today. But still no other real signs of labour…
I’ve had some bump tightenings today which isn’t new but just wondered if these may be linked to early labour rather than the same as what I was having before. Can anybody shed any light on what those first contractions/labour signs feel like?
I’m also hoping to use TENS and have been told to use this as early as possible for maximum effect, so want to make sure I’m timing this right as well 😊

With our first in the really early stages I just couldn't get comfortable at all no matter what I tried and had what felt like manageable period cramps that gradually built up into really obvious contractions
@Kirsty I think I’m currently going through this now. How long did this stage last until you got noticeable contractions?
@Ness it's the one thing about my experience that I can't actually remember specific timings. That started around midday though and intensified in the same day
