Baby camera

Does anyone still use their baby camera for their toddler or have you stopped? We still use ours for peace of mind but our little boy is now scared of it. So when he wakes in the night he screams and then can’t get back to sleep so I was thinking of getting rid of it. I can still hear him next door if he shouts when we’re asleep and he’s still in the cot so can’t wander round the room but I was just curious if people still used theirs or if I’m being overly cautious

Still use my baby camera for my 2.5 year old and he is still in a cot. He will be in a cot until he can climb out of it as it is one battle I don’t have to have until I need to! Does yours have a flashing light? Is it that he’s scared of? I have mine high up in the wall behind his head so he doesn’t see it

We still use ours x

I have 2 cameras in my son’s room, one to see the whole room and one over his bed. He tells me to turn the cameras on at bedtime and looks at the one above his bed and shouts me, I told him it’s so mummy can hear him if he needs help

What’s he scared of? We still use ours. Just easy to see if he needs recovering in the night etc.

We still use ours. He knows that if he shouts for us, we can hear it and if he wants us, he directs his question or whatever towards the camera

@Cal I don’t know, he just says he doesn’t like it so we take it down while we put him to bed then when he’s asleep and we leave the room we put it back up but he was shaking the other night when he woke up 😭

@Jazmin I don’t even know if it has a flashing light 😂🙈. Yeah I’m keeping my LO in his cot as long as I can… or until my baby needs it 😂

Still in the cot and use the baby monitor for as long as I can. (Climbing and safety being the main reason, he’s not climbing out yet but would with the opportunity!) No issues of being scared though had he seen the monitor of him in his bed? I will add my little one has issues with his hearing so doesn’t actively wake up and shout, he’s actually soft spoken so I wouldn’t hear him otherwise. I do sometimes wonder how long he’s been up when I hear him in my sleep and wake up!

We still have one set up in his room but very rarely use it, we can hear him if he needs us and there's nothing dangerous in his room. He's in a normal single bed and is free to get out and play with his toys or read his books but he usually stays put in bed. He's a very independent little boy! 😊

I don’t think I have used mine for nearly a year His rooms safe and he’s in a bed and if he needs to he comes to to gate or shouts I think it depends on your house too as mine is a small two bed so you can’t cough without hearing it but if I was in a bigger house maybe it would be different x
