Have yall ever been in a physically abusive relationship & if so, why did you decide to leave?
By abusive I mean the guy puts his hands on you, chokes you, throws things at or around you, has pulled guns out on you, etc. whether arguing or not

I left mine just over 2 years ago, I was only 20 at the time, I came home my dad could see something wasn’t right. I’d told them before and they were so angry we got back together but this time he phoned the police and then I knew I could never go back ! Was always drug related or alcohol. We were so good together on the good days but when there was alcohol or drugs involved I would dread going home with him because I knew I was in for a long and scary night. 2 years later I’ve bought my first home and have the most beautiful little boy with the best partner who wouldn’t hurt a fly. There’s always a way out you have just got to be determined, and strong ! And even when you are not feeling so strong having a good support system will be strong for you ❤️❤️

He choked me until I passed out holding our baby.
He assaulted me whilst I was 24 weeks pregnant and I had our son on my hip. That was the end of my tether. I couldn’t allow my son to see such things and I certainly couldn’t risk my unborn child
