Snacks and clothes to go home in. Your phone charger and nursing bras. Something comfy for the hospital. Everything else is extras

@Chelsea ok thank you

Snacks, phone charger, chapstick, comfy clothes to go home in and before/after birth (if you prefer to be in clothes when you start), slippers in case you wanna walk. I just wore a hospital gown until after I actually gave birth and then lived in pajamas/sweatpants. I also used adult diapers instead of what they gave me so I brought those too

Hospital Bag Checklist: What to Pack in Your Hospital Bag https://www.babylist.com/hello-baby/what-to-pack-in-your-hospital-bag I followed this check list. Thought it seemed excessive at first but I actually wound up using most of the items unpacked. The extra long phone charger came in clutch and I brought a few pairs of postpartum pajamas for after the delivery (much more comfortable than the hospital gown).

I’m getting induced on the 19th as well. They didn’t give me a time and said I have to call on Monday to get the schedule. It better be morning! Better yet, this baby better get with the program and just come out already!!!!

I was due on 3/11

I packed similar to Katie, toiletry bag (face wash, fav soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, chapstick, deodorant, body oil/lotion, hand lotion, sanitizer, hair ties/scarf), pajama dress, cozy socks, oversized sweatshirt that covers my butt, cheap stretchy leggings with flexible waistband, socks, crocs, adult diapers, arched peri bottle, snacks from dollar tree, long cell phone charger, camera.

Agree with all of the above! I also brought a favorite pillow from home (the hospital ones are pretty thin), shirts/PJs that have buttons (for easy feeding), and an essential oil spray with my favorite soothing scent (which your partner or a nurse can put on a washcloth for you during labor). Also, def bring a folder and a spare tote bag or two. You’ll get lots of free stuff from the hospital and will need places to store it!

Also, def ask the hospital staff for a fan during labor or in your room. They will probably have a portable one, and you get to take it home with you. Good luck!! ♥️
