Anyone get a membrane sweep and after go into labor?
Today is my due date, which I can’t believe. Pregnancy has been such a long road and I can’t believe it’ll over and I’ll get to meet my little dude soon. I’ve been getting some cramping a little more frequently throughout the day, maybe 3 or 4 times a day, but nothing strong enough for me to go in. I was 2.5 cm dilated last week at my appointment too.
Anyways, I have an induction scheduled for Wednesday the 19th, and this morning I have a membrane sweep. Just wondering if any March Mom’s had a membrane sweep done and it kicked them into labor? I’m honestly super nervous to get it maybe when I shouldn’t be. Im a FTM and have dealt with a lot of anxiety over these last 10 months, and the membrane sweep has me sooo nervous💀😭.

OB did mine at 38 weeks + 1,5cm dilated. Contraction started the next morning 😀 my first baby too
I had one done and it didn’t work for me. I went in to labor about 5 days after. It didn’t hurt as much as I feared, though! I was really anxious about it but it is very quick and feels like a bit more pressure than a cervical exam. Hang in there, you got this!!
I had mine done Wednesday morning but I was already 5 cm dilated and had contractions the night before, so it was pretty much happening already, and the membrane sweep kind of sealed the deal! I had my baby that evening. Good luck ❤️
