Venting I guess..

I’m not sure if I’m exaggerating or not but , how would you feel if your significant other told you that you didn’t have your shit together . Mind you , Iam in the military , trying to get a new house , trying to get a new car , and I pay bills by myself. Whenever he has money, he pays his own bills instead of asking if I need help when we’re literally living together. He barely started working a part time job and is a reservist in the military, whereas I’m active duty . He moved in with me after getting into a big fight with his mother and I accepted him how he is . It’s just messed up because this isn’t the first time he has said something rude about me. When I question him about and tell him to apologize, he says why would he have to apologize. I’m not sure if it’s just my hormones because I’m pregnant but it’s just frustrating because I’m literally trying. Apart of me just wants to tell him to go back with his mom. What would you do ?

I think when a man says that they are just threatened by the fact that you do seem to have your shit together and they are trying to bring you down or make you question yourself. It's not cool. I'd mark that as a major red flag. The not owning and apologizing part too.. makes it 10x worst

Sweetie. You got with a baby, and it’ll just get worse when you give birth. A man’s natural instinct is to provide for and protect his family. He clearly doesn’t care to provide for you, please do not let him make you believe he’s the best partner when he changes one or two diapers without complaining when you ask him to. He is mediocre.
