My blood pressure started going up and I started getting a headache and they induced me a few days later. The induction took almost 3 days so I’d go in sooner than later if you can
I think it depends on your blood pressure readings when you get there! I had a similar situation and as soon as I got a reading of 140 for blood pressure they wanted to induce me but it also depends on how many weeks you are!
@Emilee aw man I’m sorry about the storms making everything worse ! And thank you for sharing. I’m happy the process will be starting but I’m just overwhelmed by the idea it could all be starting today
Yeah, I’m just doing what I can to get labor to start naturally so I don’t have to stress too much
@Emma I’m 38 and 3 today and ok we’ll see what happens when I get there
I went in at my 39 week appointment with a headache lasting 4 days. My blood pressure was raised but not enough to be of concern. They ran extra tests anyway and I do have protein in my urine as well but again not enough to be of concern since I didn’t have preeclampsia with my first. I have been battling a cold for about 3 weeks though and I’m getting induced at 40 weeks so maybe that’s why they aren’t worried
It’s possible they’ll induce you. I’m in a similar boat, but no induction scheduled for me. They found protein in my urine in my last appt and I’ve had a headache for a couple days now. I do, however, get frequent migraines and headaches, especially with stormy weather nearby (sadly even 2-4 states away sometimes) and there’s been that massive storm brewing in the south, so I’m just kinda in limbo. Lowkey convinced my water is gonna have to break before I actually believe I’m in labor unless I get induced
