Mostly pregnancy unrelated but need some helpful advice/encouragement or just putting in my place.

This made sense in my head when I was planning on writing this..

I am a MH nurse and run my own clinics- I see around 11 people a day.
I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and have a 3 year old, who has recently been really poorly with what I thought was a viral infection and ear infection. I took a day off as carers leave in the week as she was so poorly and had to get her to the doctors, which was fine as shes my priority.

Our home has been turned upside down since last weekend as my DD has been so unwell, my partner and I have been taking shifts to take care of her throughout the nights whilst both working full time.
Now heres my current ‘dilemma’, ive been feeling poorly since Thursday (thought it was just a cold) so ive been going into work as normal, but wearing a mask to protect my patients. Im gradually getting worse and on Friday night noticed I couldnt taste my dinner- so now makes me think I have covid.
Im feeling pretty grim and it doesnt help that I can only take Paracetamol.
Ive been vomiting too, which I thought was related to my pregnancy as I am still on medication but now I am having doubts.
I have thoughts to call in sick tomorrow, but have such a guilty conscious that I feel bad on my patients for cancelling on them and reception staff for giving them extra work to cancel my clinics.
Most people will read this including myself as it sounds like such a no brainer but as a nurse, Ive always had this guilt complex.
I cant be one of the only NHS girlies that feel like this or am I just being dramatic 🙄.
Pregnancy hormones are sending my MH into a 🌀

Totally understand, and would of had the same thoughts even though we both know you have nothing to feel guilty about and these things happen. X

Call in sick girlie - I always feel guilty too but it's not worth your health. Hope you get better soon x

One of my biggest regrets now is not calling in sick when I needed to when I was pregnant. I felt bad for my patients etc but I should have looked after myself more for the sake of my baby and my own mh. Please put yourself first. X

This has been me also work in MH, I've just had 2 weeks off sick which I am 99% sure was is Covid. Im still
Not 100% but I would have been no use to anyone it's completely floored me being pregnant, also have a toddler and other half a farmer so it's busy lambing time. It's been tough and I'm probably still not right for work but planning on going back in tomorrow.
Take the time off, I just got worse and worse and so glad I took the time off
