So the last two days little miss has been pushing her milk away and screaming, yet she will eat her hand or chew on anything in sight.
She recently moved up to 700-750ml on average per day but has taken 540ml today.
Would usually have a milk about 7/7:30 and go to bed but instead she has completely refused the bottle tonight and fallen asleep on me…
Wondering if this is a teething thing as she’s dribbling lots along with the consistent hand chewing? Or maybe a growth spurt?
Anyone else the same or have any tips? We have our HV sign off on Tuesday so will mention it as she’s on 9th percentile so want to make sure she’s feeding and not dropping weight!

Yes sounds exactly like teething pains, the chewing hands and dribble especially. Although you may still not see any teeth appear for another couple of months yet. You could try some anbesol gel, I much prefer the liquid but I don’t think this is recommended until 6+ months or there are also teething granules which work well too.
If that doesn’t help enough to take a feed I would give Calpol or Nurofen, I find nurofen works better as it’s anti inflammatory so I use that for night time pain to help little one sleep. My youngest is now 4 months and teething pains started this week, I’ve got him a Infatot chicken teether (Amazon) as I used this with my first too and they are absolutely fab as so easy for babies to hold x

Little boy is the same 🙃 can’t remember having this with my first!

Exact same issue, I could've written this myself... Refuses both the bottle and the boob and it's only possible to feed my little one when he's asleep 🥹 or when he's severely distracted with some toy in front... Dreading the feedings and it's just so hard. Really hope this phase goes away... He also just had his four month vaccines and that made it even harderr the last few days...
