Was curious to know how often everyone is having sex with their partner at 7 months pp and whether the libido returned after stopping breastfeeding?
I’m currently combi feeding but pretty much only breastfeeding in the night but I don’t think she needs it to sleep (it’s just convenient 🤣) and me and my partner are what feels like constantly arguing about sex.
I just have zero interest at all , we’ve barely had sex since 32 weeks of pregnancy (as my waters broke early so we couldn’t) but even since starting at 4 months pp everything has been DRYYYY from bf and uncomfortable as I have a frontal prolapse. I feel horrid but he keeps blaming me which obviously wouldn’t make me want to have sex with him anyway but i genuinely don’t know what to do anymore.
Feels like we’re just passing ships.

EBF here and have zero interest. We haven’t had sex since I was about 25 weeks pregnant. Husband is constantly asking and I feel really bad but I’m so tired constantly too and just can’t be arsed 😬🙊

This is biologically normal and a lot of women go through the same experience. Be kind to yourself and allow your body and mind to guide you. Your partner sounds really unreasonable and unsupportive, for me that would be a massive red flag. You explaining once should be enough. Constant arguing or even brining it up is absolutely not okay.

yes it’s a really bad side to him that I don’t like at all. We’re fairly new in a relationship (got pregnant 3/4 months in) so still learning I think
I’m hoping once I stop breastfeeding completely that it’ll come back but I am on the mini pill as well so it’s a long shot 🤦🏼

Me and my partner are stuggling with this tooo, seems like we are on the brink of break up tbh due to that and a couple other issues, no advice sorry but seems to be common

Formula fed 7month pp and it’s normal not to have a sex drive I have same issue but my partner doesn’t have a problem with it we know it’s temporary last time we did was new years so pretty long ago but trying to make it work relationship isn’t just about sex it’s about having a connection and it will pass once hormones are more balanced etc

No sex drive what so ever here! 7months postpartum and we’ve probably done it maybe 4x? It can take up to 2 years for your hormones to go back to normal. So it’s really normal, just got to ride that wave! It’ll come back soon I’m sure xx

Same here!! Also…the dryness makes it SO painful. It just feels like one more thing to feel guilty about 🫠

Speak to your doctor about getting vaginal oestrogen but also he’s being a jerk for blaming you!
