Outpatient induction derby royal

I had 4 babies at derby, 3 inductions, all bad experiences so I won't comment x

I just had induction at derby (nearly 3 weeks ago) and wasn't successful and ended in emergency c-sec (which i believe is about 60% of inductions) but we were kept in from the start as was induced following reduced movement- all the midwives were great but dr really love to push the induction process and I ended up doing everything, instead of sticking to my plan of going from pessary to c-sec in a nice calm controlled step we struggled through pessary,gels and drip and had emergency c-sec nearly 3 days in

I had high BP towards the end of my pregnancy and was induced with a pessary at 39 weeks exactly. Within 10 hours I was on the Labour ward, baby’s heart rate had dipped to 79(!!!) and I was rushed in for an emergency c section. Managed to give birth naturally but I was 1 min in stage 2 labour and 4 mins in stage 3. Had the ventouse as well because of the way baby’s head was. Everything is all fine now and baby is thriving (12 weeks tomorrow). This was my second baby, I also had an induction with my first at 41+1 but my first was definitely smoother 😂 if you’re low risk, I would say don’t do it unless it’s absolutely necessary! I only had the induction due to my risk of pre-eclampsia
