Baby shower with 2nd?

It’s more popular for someone to have a sprinkle if they have the opposite gender. Perhaps you have a boy next you have a sprinkle you get not many major things, but you get like a few things for your baby boy. But my sister did a sprinkle because she had a boy and then she just gave birth to her girl literally a week ago. She wishes she had done a nesting party.

A nesting party is you invite a bunch of friends and their husbands/boyfriends and family members and they all get the house ready for the baby. Like one group was on lawn care. One group was helping clean the bathrooms then there was another group who helped prep meals for when she’s postpartum one group got the nursery ready etc. And that’s what I think I will want to do if I ever have a second kid even if it’s a different gender!!

We did a shower but it was smaller. More of a potluck thing that people could come celebrate with us and bring a gift if they could. I made a small registry of things we would need for a second so there were only like 30 things on it. It was still a fun time celebrating another little one.

Hi, due with my second girl this weekend. We did not have a second baby shower. I didn’t want one but now that she’s due this weekend I’m feeling a little guilty we didn’t “ celebrate” her arrival etc. But we decided we’re going to record the birthing process (didn’t do this with sister) and make a nice little video for her to look back at(:

I want to do something for my second. I’m probably doing a dinner to at least celebrate awaiting their arriving.
