Hi everyone
Little one has had her 1st 2 settling in sessions at nursery and has never had a bottle as EBF and wouldn’t take to milk in a cup during the day and has dropped daytime feeds for several months now, but I noticed her sat close staring at another child having their bottle when I went to pick her up today - she also pulled out a free newborn one that I had in the back of the cupboard and was running around with it the other day. She must be interested after watching someone else. Is it worth me maybe getting her a bottle for nursery and if so what type do people suggest and teet size for a small 15 month old. confuses me lol as there are so many different options

If she is eating solids well and having plenty of water from a cup I personally wouldn’t bother introducing a bottle at this age.
We are trying to phase ours out gradually and it’s been quite challenging moving our LB away from the comfort of a bottle for a cup. I think I read that the advice is to wean off bottles between 12-18 months, so at 15 months old it doesn’t seem that worthwhile to start now 🤷♀️
If she’s interested I’d let her play with the free bottle you have but not invest in purchasing or encouraging them at this stage x

yeah agree. My son is also still EBF outside of solids and doesn't take milk in a cup / bottle so I just do a couple of breastfeeds a day in the evening / morning as needed. If they are having enough water and solids, and enough breastmilk straight from the boob, and/or calcium rich foods like cheese / yogurt etc then wouldn't bother introducing a bottle now!
