Just to say I’m FTM, 20 weeks and have been so anxious as I really don’t think I’ve felt my baby move.
I had my 20w scan today and there was literally nothing to worry about, I have a completely healthy and normal baby who was very active!! I just can’t feel that yet and that’s a-ok 👌🏼
Wanted to reassure anyone coming up for their 20w scan with no feeling of movements yet ☺️❤️

I have my 20 week scan next week I have felt light movements but not anything major it’s still early as baby is still small and this is my second pregnancy x

Nealry 21 weeks here, 3rd pregnancy and I've only felt light tapping really low maybe twice.

Thank you so much for posting your experience, I really needed to see this today. I'm in the exact same position, and I've basically been in a permanent state of anxiety about my scan on Wednesday for days now 😬

Love this, it can take up to 24 weeks before any need for worry they told me. I didn't feel anything until the morning of my 20 week scan and even then I wasn't super sure what it was. ❤️

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and have been feeling so nervous and worried. I haven’t felt any movement so this is really reassuring thank you ☺️

I’m 20 weeks with my second baby and not feeling much either, did they tell you at your scan what placenta you have? Could be the reason also x

good luck with your scan, not that you’ll need it ☺️❤️

high up posterior placenta, but I have a retroflexed uterus so it’s likely why ☺️ x

Hi! Mama of a 3.5 month old. I hardly felt this chica move during the whole pregnancy. Made me nervous but every scan she was totally fine. I even thought maybe I just have a chill low energy baby. Then she came out and she's an active little bean! I had to do non stress tests towards the end and they gave me this clicker to press any time I felt a movement and I was nervous bc I didn't feel much. Turns out she was completely healthy at birth. Do not stress Mama! AND trust your doctors when they say everything is totally fine. Also stay off Google. I say all this from experience.

I didn't feel anything until 21+, others I know 24+

It really depends on where you’re carrying the baby at if you’re gonna feel movement at this time, I wouldn’t worry about anything at this time. It also depends on how in tune to your body. You are.

I didn’t feel any real movement until like 22-23 weeks.
I felt what I thought was gas around 16 weeks. Like once.
I have an anterior placenta so my doc said not to worry and I may not feel something until 24ish weeks.
Now I’m he’s kicking my ass so … don’t worry... It’ll happen. It’s too early for kick counts or anything like that.

I’m excited for you to see your lil one tomorrow! let us know how it goes x

Aww so glad your lil baby is full of beans! And yesss I had to stop looking at pregnancy forums etc for 2 weeks there as I was comparing experiences with my own and making myself worry for nothing!

meant to say, let us know how the scan goes on Wednesday if you feel like it! 😊

I didn’t feel my baby’s movements until 22-24 weeks I believe. Don’t worry love!

@Jamie I absolutely will do! It's not until 7pm though, so I've got all day to suffer 🙈😂

Everything went sooooo well, thank you so much again for the reassurance! We have a very active and healthy baby in there 😊💛
