we had our 9-12 month review today for my 10 month old - 11months on the 25th. anyways he’s gone up a centile to just below the 75th for weight & dropped 2 centiles to the line of the 9th for length, they’ve advised me to make a non emergency gp appointment to discuss it, is that a new thing? he’s my 3rd child and i’ve never heard of this, all my children are always on the lower end of chart for length, is that serious for a drs appointment?😂

I’ve parked pretty much all they told me at mine 🙄
probably the same as you’ve already been through before😂 check baby’s length, weight, eating, sleeping, what they can developmentally, mine did moan about the amount of oz he has for milk, apparently too much for his age😂

I had the milk moan too 🙄
she told me “that’s why he’s higher in weight than length”😂 but he doesn’t look overweight or out of proportion, he is actually quite skinny so obviously puts it away well😂 we’ve also been told about are dog & kids to be separated but they love a cuddle together 😂
he has about 25oz on a good day, she told me it was too much with 3 meals a day & i should swap some for water, but if he wants milk, i’m gonna give him milk😂 my 2nd drunk 4-5 9oz bottles until he was 1 & that was never a problem & my 1st only drunk 3 4oz bottles at this age, so really every baby has different needs & want, im not sure why it always comes down to charts😂

they told me she should be on 2 bottles a day.

mines a Huggggggggeeeeee eater / defo my daughter 😂

Don't think that requires a doctors appt at all. I don't think the doc will be interested tbf... like u said all your children are on the lower end of chart for length. Also bday twin baby here 👋

I think that’s really odd my LG is below the 9th centile for height and all they said was that she’s petite and as long as they haven’t changed centiles massively whether it’s up or down then it’s fine x

Is it bad that I opted to not have an appointment?
My letter said if I didn’t have any concerns no need for an appointment and I’d be contacted if they had concerns about my questionnaire.
Sounds like I maybe made the right decision?!…

Dreading my appointment as they made me feel so uncomfortable post birth, hormones wild, first time mum. And my boy is chunky and super tall so probs have something to say on his size (10 months wearing 18-24) as if he’s not happy, healthy and loved! 🙄

We’re going to have a fun appointment then 🙄 last check my little girl is on 9th centile for her weight but the 97th centile for her height! We’ve had to go back to 2 meals and 1 snack a day with 3 bottles that she doesn’t even finish!! I will challenge them to come and miraculously get my baby to eat more where myself and my partner fail even with the help of a dietician and paediatrician 🫣
