We’re going to Spain this year and currently looking into car seats. We’re not taking our main pram base as too bulky so taking our travel pram, but means we can’t attach our car seat to the pram. So when we go out and about in cabs with the car seat, we’ll be lugging the car seat around with us whilst sightseeing?! This is obvs not practical and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone do this 😂 am I missing a trick?! Please share any advice or what you’ve done xx

Doona all the way they’re a God send

I’m glad you’ve asked this as we’re going to Spain in a couple of months and I’m trying to work out what to do about a car seat😂 I was reading that some people don’t take them on the plane as they’re thrown about etc but also read that some private taxis have car seats so I’m not sure 🤔x

that’s a good idea, thank you x

hey! Just thought I’d let you know what we decided to do about the car seat in case it helps. We’ve decided to take one as all the advice says you should to be safe etc etc. Just our personal choice but I totally get why people don’t and in the future we may not! I think on this first time we wanna be on the safe side. We bought a cheaper car seat to take instead of our own we use here as we do have a friend who recently had hers broken in the hold! I’ve bought a car seat bag off Amazon - you can get ones that have straps on them so you can wear it like a rucksack! Definitely not an ideal situation but on the few occasions we go out, we’ll use it in cabs then my hubby is gonna be carrying it on his back the rest of the time 😅 but better on his back than us lugging it around in our hands! Hope this helps or you find a solution xx

ahhh that’s great! Thank you for letting me know xx
