Membrane sweep 38 weeks

I had one at 37 + 5 and it got me from 1cm to 3cm xx

I had one at 38 weeks and went into labour the next day! I think that success rates are quite low when you look into it but I wanted the baby out so was up for it! It hurts a bit but doesn't last long

Yes never worked I had 3. Ended up going into spontaneous labour much later. Got one for my own anxieties surrounding the pregnancy

Not something I’d ever have again personally

I had one at 38 weeks then gave birth at 38+3 following a successful sweep x

I had this done with my daughter whose now 13 when I was 38 weeks it is painful but it didn’t work for me I didn’t go in to labour until I was 42 weeks

I was offered one by a consultant but when I spoke to my midwife and said I didn’t want one she agreed with me because she felt that my pregnancy had been to clinical and that if I was happy for spontaneous labour she supported my decision. 2 weeks later I had my daughter x

I didn't feel it when they gave me the sweep but adding the extra hormone drip my contractions came thick and fast

Currently 38 weeks, had my 3rd today, they haven’t done much upto now x
