So my little girl started nursery 3 weeks ago (you see where this is going 😅) and immediately picked up a cough. We are on week 3 of this without it budging. It caused croup, several vomiting episodes and it’s still there without improvement. Doctor isn’t concerned and can’t do anything as it’s viral and her chest is clear. It’s just very loose and phlegm-y. It’s stopping her from truly settling in nursery and enjoying food and milk plus it’s really disturbing her sleep. Any advice or is anyone in the same boat? We use a humidifier and prop her mattress up at night. Also tried saline spray.

Baby vapour rub (snufflebabe) on my baby girls feet at night, alongside the humidifier has really helped her.
They catch everything! So has my baby too and also had 4 top teeth cut through, one after the other 😢

Honestly its mostly just ride it out. Mu first was on / off sick for 6 months solid when he started nursery

My little boy has had a cough since the end of Jan when he first got tonsillitis. He has tonsillitis again at then end of Feb, and has also started nursery. The cough is still here, lingering around. He’ll be alright for a few days and it won’t be so bad (but still coughing) and then booom, it’s bad again. It’s also phlegmy and loose. Sounds like it hurts him to cough too. I’ve been to the doctors 3 times and they’ve all said nothing to worry about and that his chest is clear too. But surely lasting 3 months is not normal?!…. I hate it. I’m not sure what to do
