Mine took 6 weeks to heal

I’m 12 weeks and mine has been healed for a few weeks, it’s still a little tender to touch, but it’s definitely sealed. Maybe you might need antibiotics if it’s infected, you don’t want it to get deep x

By about 3 weeks my external wound was completely healed. I’d say there may be some underlying issue or they haven’t use the correct antibiotics if it’s still getting infected. Have they taken a swab and actually chased the results and actioned it because GPs are generally pretty bad at that

Try lavender oil on it and letting it air dry xx

Definitely go to a doctor because I was healed by 5-6 weeks. I had one stitch that needed to be removed but other than that I've been fine since at least 3-4 weeks

Mine was like that as well. I started putting gauze on my scar under my over hang to keep the area dry. It’s helped so much.

Mine took roughly 12 weeks, I’m 6 months now and still have numbness and shooting in pains on occasion on/around the scar If you feel there is on going infection I would contact your GP, I had issues with my stitches getting caught and that cause an infection for me definitely worth getting it checked

Both times took 6 weeks, I’m 12 weeks now and started running this week. Just remember though everyone is different including our genetics, our surgery type and our surgeons skills. We don’t all heal the same xx

5 months 🙃😅

Thank you everyone x

I had the glue on the outside, which I didn’t peel off until 5 weeks, at which point the scar looked like it had been completely healed for a while. So some time between two and five weeks! If you are still getting infections, I would definitely consult with your provider!!
