You can use heating pads and ice packs. Counter pressure works amazing for relief. As labor builds your body's oxytocin and endorphins increase which changes the way you sense pain... I felt no pain the last 2.5-3 hours of my birth.
I was going to ask this exact question I’ve been looking into them but there are so many to buy and some to rent but idk which are better 😓
@Adriana I know it’s so hard to find any info on which one to buy. I ended up buying on off amazon after seeing another woman on Tik tok talking about how she used it during labor. I haven’t tested it out yet but the reviews on amazon were pretty good for general pain and it was affordable

@Sarah thank you so much!
I don't have any info on these but can tell you what I did to accept and relieve pain during labor. I had a few days of prodromal labor like 5 or so (3 of them the contractions were 7-11 minutes apart and very strong) then 2 days of consistent contractions - "real labor". So I didn't fall asleep for 4 nights straight before the birth. I had about 15 minutes of sleep where I dreamt for the first time in days on the morning of his birth. Had a homebirth in a birthpool. You'll need to move throughout it. Move into new positions that give you comfort but also if it is the least comfortable then it may be a more effective contraction. My midwife said to try and last at least contractions before giving up on said position.
