How is everyone coping with work in the first trimester?

I feel like I’m barely surviving right now without taking a nap during the day. Also nausea is severely affecting my productivity!

I’m also suffering right now with morning sickness and I’m so tired all the time

I haven’t worked in 3 weeks, I went back today for the first time and I feel so much worse for it. Don’t be afraid to use sick leave if you have it xx

It's such a struggle, I sometimes wonder if it's worse because I haven't told anyone at work yet, so I'm also trying to act like it's all 'OK'. I've had colleagues tell me that I'm coming down with something or they had what I've got last week 🤣
We are also in the process of moving house, spending a weekend packing was the worst, regular naps and sick breaks, it was horrible!!!

Just posted something similar. I need to take at least a week off sick I think but I can't afford it bit I'm getting so depressed at being so tired. X

I call in sick if I need to call in sick. Work from home if I need to. Inform your line manager about your pregnancy. So they make adjustments for you. Don’t be a soldier. Your carrying precious cargo

Just so you know pregnancy related sickness doesn’t go towards your sickness or absence at work and you can not be penalised for taking any time off sick for anything pregnancy related

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
