Childcare funding for non working parents

I’m due to go on mat leave in April with my second child, first is 3 end of March.

My workplace have just put out about voluntary severance.

I’m unsure if taking this would affect my older daughter’s childcare entitlement? From 1st she would be entitled to 30 hours.

Any advice. Thank you

There isn’t funding for non working parents until the 15 hours for 3+ years. I think if you took voluntary severance then you’d effectively be unemployed therefore you’re not working and not on paid maternity leave so then she wouldn’t get 30 hours, just 15.
