Anyone had tonsillitis while pregnant?

So after ignoring a few symptoms and blaming it on pregnancy and coming down with a cold. Turns out I got tonsillitis. Today hits it peak so I went to the pharmacy thinking it was something else (after stupidity trying to diagnose myself of Google). Luckily he was able to prescribe antibiotics and don't have to go to the GP unless the course of antibiotics doesn't work. Now I am googling and have seen tonsillitis can cause complications in pregnancy and is making me so anxious.
