i agree she sounds miserable and is jealous of the relationship you have with your daughter. dress them how you want, if it’s matching then do that. you’re building a bond with her/ them. at least you’re not a deadbeat mom that could care less about your daughters. i swear i hate mil’s sometimes, they’re so bitter and for what? like what does her comment get her? five seconds of joy? you just do you and let her live her life of misery and jealousy. i’m petty so i’d throw away any shit she got but that’s just me, obviously you don’t have to but i’d personally disregard anything she gets out of spite and i’d probably sell it publicly so she knows i’m getting rid of it. do whatever makes you and your daughter/daughters happy, they won’t remember anything but that you loved them and tried your hardest to be present and fun in their lives. i don’t see how you matching with them/ her does any harm.

It’s totally up to you how your daughter dresses (at least at the moment anyway). I think matching clothing is adorable and you’re right, they are only little for so long. This is totally something my MIL would say. I’d purposely wear matching clothes around her but maybe I’m just petty 😂
