My waters broke at 36+4, I was told if contractions didn’t start then they would start the induction process. I basically just didn’t really sit still, just kept walking around. I was made to stay in hospital so options were limited but my contractions started around 9 hours after my waters went (I still just walked around for hours) and baby was born 11 hours later.

Ask them if before a c section if you can have oxytocin to start your labour. I had my waters break first luckily I did manage to start active labour within 24 hours but needed constant monitoring and oxytocin. In total my labour was 48 hours

I got induced with oxytocin with the same issue but at 38+5.
I started pumping at home. Not to get anything out but just because it stimulates the uterus. It definitely had an effect on my contractions 100%.
I still needed the drip but it was because they weren't regular. They were coming and were quite strong but would be 10 mins apart then nothing for 20, then 3 mins apart.
