Baby’s hips

Did anyone else’s baby need an ultrasound because their hip clicked at 6 week check up. We are waiting for a call from hospital so she can get an ultra sound and I just want to know if anyone else has this and if anything came from it :)

We had this at 2 weeks, she had ultrasound & my LO has hip dysplasia, she was put in a harness for 2 weeks but it made no improvement so unfortunately she’ll have surgery at 15-18 months :( but usually the harness works in like 95% of cases x

I had this and at my hospital they asked me to lay her on the pillow on her side and undo her nappy whilst they put the ultrasound thing over one hip and then change sides and did the other it literally took 5 minutes if that and they tell you there and then my daughter was fine it was from my hormones she had clicky hips x

My little girl was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 4 weeks old when she had a routine ultrasound for being breech. She’s been in a pavlik harness for 9 weeks but is now “hip healthy” and will be completely out of it a few weeks😊 it’s over 90% effective! X

My baby was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 2 weeks. She did 4 weeks in a pavlik harness and 3 weeks in an abduction brace and is now weaning off as her hips are within normal range. From things I’ve read it seems each trust treats slightly different. The pavlik harness stopped working but the brace got her to normal range within 3 weeks! X

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
