Car window shades

Just purchased some suction cup shades for the car ready for baby due next month. Just tried and they only cover about 2/3rds (if that) of the window as they’re quite long back windows.

Had another look and all seems to be similar or they have to be the sock kind that go over the window but seen a lot of cons to those too.

What’s everyone else done? Do you just cover enough of the window to minimise or do we need bigger shades? Especially as I’ll be having a spring baby summer sun is going to be a big issue in the car while still little so want to get it right.

interesting! Not seen ones like this so I’ll have a look into them, thanks so much!

they're airy as they have small holes in, so they soon dry when you're going 70 on the motorway!! I haven't ever noticed that they smell at all, however If you find they do, stick them in the washing machine 😊. My son's almost 3 and we've used them since he was born and they're still in perfect condition x

@Sam I'm actually in the car now so can take a picture of them in the car if you'd like x

that’s really handy to know. Think that might be our best option as our windows are so long and a bit of a weird shape! Thank you 🥰

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
