Formula

Who is still giving formula? My baby boy eats well but loves his milk. He breastfeeds and enjoys formula. I feel bad taking it away, they are still so small. Is anyone in the same boat?

Yes! My LO is the same. All babies are different and I don’t see any harm in them still have formula atm xxx

My LG is the same, has B/L/D then bottle before bed is formula, it’s the only one she has and she finishes it every night. I’m not sure how to take it away.

I think if they have it before you clean their teeth then it is ok.

No harm in keeping it but for money sake is it worth moving to cows (or alternative) milk? Obviously up to you. I EBF and still do and don’t plan to stop, my daughter isn’t a huge foodie so my milk is her go to!

our little 1 still has breastmilk and formula, hard to transition to cows milk, never seems well enough to, virus after virus so stick to what she knows and likes and small amount she has on breakfast seems to upset stomach (needs to get used to rather than allergy) @lotti really interested to hear about not huge foodie, feel like our lo is the same, not a hugely diverse range she will eat and huge steps backwards when ill which is most of the time

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
