No questions, just wanted to rant. That’s toxic fat phobic culture in Eastern Europe. My parents always made me feel bad for over feeding my baby (he was born 75%, and ate every 2h like a normal BF baby) and made comments about his size.
Now that he finally dropped percentile they were happy about it? I know it’s not an issue but being glad about it is just too much.

From Eastern Europe so I feel you 🤣🤣 my mum is always like give him water, don t give him so much to eat, he eats and still drinks the same amount of milk? Is he standing yet? Saying mama 🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I can never catch a break so I am with u
Yes omg the water at night!! They have been asking me why i feed at night and not give him water instead ever since he was 4weeks old.. if my health visitor hears that they will call social services 🤣

This is fascinating! What's the reason behind this culturally? Xx

There was a post on one of these groups can't remember which one where a mum was pressured into giving her baby water too early at like 3 months or something and it led to baby having a seizure because it affected the salts in the blood (sodium) and baby had to go to intensive care! Maybe tell your parents that 🤣

Obviously now they are over 6 months it's fine to give water occasionally

no reason really, this is how they ve raised us 35 years ago when it was not so much info around and also we were in Comunism so not so many choices out there. So basically this is what they know and their experience.

Yeah water and tea since he was 2 months old 🤣🤣 driving me mad really
