My baby (11 months) still wakes up twice to drink milk. Usually has around 3 oz and then 3 4oz bottles in the day. The health visitor to me to give him water at night instead of milk but it just isn’t settling him and he’s obviously hungry if drinking the 3oz twice. Is anyone else baby doing the same? I keep comparing to all the mums who say their baby sleeps through the night!

My little girl has been occasionally waking for milk I have tried with water but I might start doing as we are transitioning to cows milk as she’s one next week xx

Yeah my baby is 1 on Wednesday and still wakes 2-3 times a night for milk. Although he is CMPA so his formula has been extended till I assume 2 as he’s not good at eating no matter what I try. You can always give cows milk when 1 or even if you wanted to carry on with formula. It’s just your personal preference on what you want to do! My HV told me not to give him water in the night but like you unsure on how to go about it so I’m just going to carry on giving milk until he doesn’t want it anymore xx

My baby is the same.

Mine used to but I night weaned last year. Went from 5oz to 0 over about 2 weeks.

Compare him to my eldest who woke for milk in the night till two and then when I night weaned her she needed food in the night instead (no she’s not typical but it happens). You’re doing fine.
My middle also had milk in the night till 2 but much lest and my third (April baby) is still feeding in the night.

Yeah my son still wakes for a feed overnight, we’ve done as Hayley did and weaned him a couple times but as soon as he gets poorly or teething etc he’s back on the midnight feast 😅 we’ve decided just to go with it for now and look at it again once he’s settled into nursery and moved to his own bedroom x

Yeah my baby is the same xx
Thank you for your responses it reassures me I am not the only one with a night snacker! For those who say they weaned off how did you do it? Did you increase anything in the day?

does he have three hearty meals and what time are his bottles in the day? x
