Gestational diabetes.. help!!!
I’m getting really annoyed!!! I’m meant to test 4 times a day. Take 2 metformin and 4 units of insulin. But my bloody sugar monitor won’t work!! I’ve opened 3 boxes of test strips and it just shows chk on the screen. On google it says it means the code on the strip isn’t reading properly but I’ve literally tried 30 strips. What do I do?!! Apart from loosing my mind 😂😂

Hey, have you tried calling up the diabetic midwife helpline and informed them. They need to change the device.
Maybe one for tomorrow as I know my midwife helpline is not available on weekends. But alternatively I can go to triage and ask them
I’m stuck at work til 8pm but yes I’ve requested a call back from the app so hopefully will get a call tomorrow. I defo need a new device 😓 xx thanks
