Go for a good mix of savoury and sweet! I had a pack of mini rolls as they were a pregnancy craving of mine, also had granola bars, mini cheddars, and grapes because fruit definitely helped with the scary first after baby number 2 🫣 drinks I had a couple of 1L flavoured waters as I was sooo thirsty and some Lucozade sports for energy 🙂

I didn't take anything, and I really didn't need it. The hospital food was good and filling. I'd search for reviews on the hospitals food. You have enough to pack for the baby

You can't eat or drink before you have surgery, so it's pointless taking anything with you. Just eat the hospital food afterward.

lol definitely look at the food served ours tried to offer me Mac and cheese WITH FISH IN 🤢 absolutely rancid I can still smell it now 🤣 my other half would go buy sandwiches and bring in food while I had to be in after that occurred haha

Definitely take things with you, yes you may not be able to eat anything beforehand but if you take your favourite snacks for afterwards then you’ll have something if you don’t fancy the hospital food.
I can’t remember what was on offer at my hospital but it was all minging so all I ended up with was a dry cheese sandwich! That absolutely did not hit the spot after giving birth!
