Blood in stool

My 2 month old had some blood in her stool yesterday afternoon and it was bright red.. It was only one diaper and I haven't seen more blood. Anyone else dealt with this? Also should I still call her doctor even though I havent seen it again?

Me personally I’d take her to the hospital but if u can’t then definitely call the dr . It could be something small like infection or something more serious like gastrointestinal bleeding. It’s always best to get it checked out. It’s better to be safe then sorry

Go right to the ER. My doc said if you see blood or grey stool go right to the ER. I hope she’s okay.

i would go to the doctor my son had mucusy blood in his diaper a couple times i showed my pediatrician she said sometimes they can get little tears by their butt from pooping and it could be from that or i might need to change formula bc he might’ve been lactose but since then i never had the problem it only was the two times

So update: We are at the hospital now waiting for an xray to come back. They said everything seems fine as far as their physical exam goes. If the xray come back good they said it is probably a dairy allergy.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
