Where can you take a newborn?

My last maternity leave I hated I felt so bored and lonely. Is there anywhere you took your babies that made the experience better? Like is an outdoor cinema okay? Music? I'll have a 3/4yrs old this time so I know it won't be as boring, but any ideas for things besides just a walk or a cafe that were OK with a newborn?

I did loads of classes. The pub during summer! Baby cinema. I joined a mum and baby hiking club, yoga: This year I’ll be taking an 8 week old to music festival for a weekend! There is loads of stuff to do - your local community scenter / library’s etc will have lots of leaflets with what’s on. You can often find stuff community facebook groups or council website
