4 months, some won’t agree and that’s okay. But it worked for us, she sleeps better in her own room and so do we. We have a monitor. She’s 14 months now, don’t regret a thing. I started off with naps for a day and then just took the plunge and put her in the cot that night, never looked back. Do it when you are ready. X

5 1/2 months

First baby was 2 as we couldn’t move.
Second baby will be about 6 months as he has a room in the new house.

Son is 7months and still in our room, I dread the day we move him 🥺

We moved into a 2 bed house when my son was 8 months thinking we would instantly go to separate rooms but between my baby being poorly, tonsillitis and chest infections, and me not being ready mentally we didn’t seperate rooms until about 6 weeks ago which took us just before his 1st birthday!
It’s what worked for us and I hated the idea of being in a different room to him while sleeping and the first few nights were HARD! But it definitely gets better x

About 6 and half months - a little later only because baby got poorly with croupe and an ear infection around 6 month mark so wanted her close to me while she was getting better
