Hey mama's! FYI my daughter has her doctor appointment this Wednesday so I know I can wait until then to tell them what's happening and get professional guidance/medicine...however, my mama's mind is freaking out because my daughter has been healthy up until the last few months. She's been struggling with pooping. At first it was constipation and even though she's pooping daily, now it's gotten worse with how hard, chalky and discolored her poop is. I just want to know if any other mama's have experienced this and what happened?? I'm praying my baby doesn't have liver issues.
Thank you for any information!

Hi! Have you started whole milk with her? I brought up a similar issue to my doctor and they recommended provide miralax every couple of days or as needed to help relieve her. They also mentioned it was common after transitioning to whole milk.
a few days before her first birthday I switched her to Lactaid whole milk and I got her Mommy's Bliss probiotic drops. She's been pooping everyday since. My concern is her poop is yellowish white and hard and chalky. Some days she skips a day but no more than that. She was having really bad constipation because of her formula all of February and March, ever since she really started solids. I took her to see the doctor and they did prescribe Miralax and she took it but it took 4 days to work, on top of not pooping for a week. It was rough because I did everything alongside it, prune juice, peaches, water...and when she finally pooped it was traumatizing. She was constipated what seemed to be every week, of course until I switched her to whole milk and probiotic drops.
Hopefully you're right and her body is just trying to get used to the whole milk... I'm bringing a diaper of her poop to the doctor so they can run tests and hopefully it's nothing serious... I just want her to be healthy. 🥲
