Maternity Swimwear ideas

Hi all - I’m going on a beach resort holiday for my babymoon but have no idea what swimwear to get/wear. I’ll be just over 5 months pregnant at the time. What would be most comfy? A one piece that goes over the belly? A bikini with bottoms over the belly? Or just have the bump out? I don’t want to feel restricted as I’ll be in that most of the time. Any help would be great!

I went to Greece when I was about 5/6 months pregnant and I wore a maternity high waisted bikini bottoms and just a bikini top. I also took a maternity swimming costume but never wore it x

You’re not pregnant for long - if you’re comfortable with it then I’d let your belly be out in all its glory 🥰 That’s what I intend to do!

I’m going away when I’ll be 20 weeks. I’ve ordered like a floaty tankini top and some high waisted bottoms. I’m not keen on having to negotiate a swimming costume 20 times a day to go to the toilet 😂
I’m not confident enough for a bikini but I’d say that or a tankini for practical purposes

I sized up. But for maternity swim wear I bought from pour moi, expensive but well worth it as they still fit lovely now but I've not really lost much weight 🫣

Thank you all so much! I agree with the toilet comment, I never thought about that 😂 I will have a look around x

I wore a normal string / triangle bikini, full bump out!
Felt best like this.
Had big t shirts / sarongs on hand and got some great maternity shorts off amazon.
I guess it depends what you’d normally wear, I’m usually a bikini girl any rate x

I didn’t realise when pregnant I’d be more sensitive to the sun so burnt a lot easier. Just a heads up 😅🍅
