Has anyone given their child lactulose daughter really struggling to go to the toilet so painful and the straining is unbelievable.
Do you syringe it? Was it just 5ml twice a day

I was prescribed Laxidoe instead as we couldn’t use that one due to a milk allergy which I found works really well.
Prunes are also very good, orange juice and weetabix are all very good for constipation as a natural remedy x

Yes, my little one had this when she was younger. We did morning & night but didn't really find it helped x

Yh my baby girl uses lactulose if she needs it , it does help x
do you give 5ml syringe each time?

Yes you can use the syringe but if its bot been prescribed I'd start at once per day at maybe 2.5ml and if that doesn't help up to twice a day and again if that's not working try 5ml
We had it for my lg when she was a baby but she reacted to it (milk allergy but should of been okay) so we moved to movicol once a day but it did help

i have used it but i would say it helps move things along but it’s important to stay extra hydrated otherwise it makes toilet trips a bit more difficult
