Antibiotic and nursery
My lo is on amoxicilin 3x a day. 7am 1pm 7pm. I don't trust my nursery that much yet to ask them to give him a dose around 1pm (not sure if they are even allowed) should I skip the 1pm dose and give a second one at 7pm or give second dose at 4pm (home and 3rd at 7pm?

Of course nursery are aloud to give him antibiotics. You just fill in a medication form
No, don't change the dosing schedule of antibiotics. Most nurseries will let LO attend after 48hrs of antibiotics and will administer a dose if you let them know- probably you'll need to sign a form.
Can I just ask if your LO has had any reaction to the amoxicillin? My LO was on amoxicillin but then started to come out in hives so was switched to azithromycin but is still coming out in hives. Just wondering if you’ve had the same experience
@Toni sorry to hear that. My lo hasn't had any reaction since he started taking it on Friday evening.

My little girl was also on antibiotics and nursery happily administered them to her, I wouldn’t change the schedule either, they will be able to do it, you just have to fill in a lot of forms!
Just FYI our wont let them in for the first 48 hours on antibiotics in case they react.
