For you: comfy clothes like jogging bottoms/maternity tops/button top pajamas/large underwear, breast pads/pumps if you plan on breast feeding, maternity pads, toiletries, flip flops for shower and towel, comfy pillow, long phone charger, water bottle, snacks. For baby: short sleeve bodysuit x5, long sleeve body suit x5 preferably with sleeves that turn into mittens and closed feet, swaddle blanket, hat, nappies, bottle/formula/dummies if you plan to use them
With my first I wish I overpacked as I was in for 3 days and quickly ran out of things that I needed So I'd say pack 5/6 onsies and bodysuits, about 4 Muslins, and just pack whatever you'd feel comfortable with for baby really extra Bibs 2 packs of cotton pads Yourself pack like 3 pairs of pjs (u could easily leak through a pair) a couple pair of regular clothes socks extra pack of maternity pads x
congratulations on 33 weeks today 🥰🥰 im packing the following: baby boy newborn x3 sleep suits newborn x2 muslins,swaddles and bibs newborn x3 short sleeve suits pack of nappies cotton wool,nappy cream etc leaving hospital outfit for baby (including hat,socks and scratch mittens) formula and bottles in case i cannot breastfeed immediately for some reason for me pjs x2 (one including a sleep shirt) socks,underwear, maternity bra x2 pack of nappies for me! breast pads toiletries and wash kit, including spritz for bits, hairbrush and makeup birthing comb and tens machine for labour/birthing going home outfit which likely will consist of baggy trousers, comfortable shoes, maternity bra and baggy top/jumper charger and a book i live locally and have friends/family who will pop back with more clothes/nappies etc should that be necessary, but that’s ultimately what ill be packing.. hope this helps you 🤗

In addition to everything above, please pack your own painkillers as well (paracetamols, ibuprofen, codeine you name it). I had to wait for 30-60 mins last time to get some paracetamols so this time im bringing all the meds i can get from the pharmacy and will just check which ones i can have instead of having to request them
Hello lovely! The NHS has guidelines and that pretty much is all the essentials! I would just note a few things to get which are not on the list 1) water bottle with a straw as it’s hard to unscrew a cap in between contractions 2) 3m phone cable as the plugs are far from the bed 3) postpartum belly wrap if not C-section delivery to support your abdominal You can also buy or create your own hospital bag at mybabynest.co.uk you’ve got this! 💪🏻
For me essential was nighties, lilets maternity pads and Tesco disposable maternity knickers, a peri bottle which helped with going to the toilet after episiotomy🙈 and. A hair brush! For baby - muslins, nappies, wipes, vests and sleepsuits
